Is wallpaper engine worth it?

Yeah.

It's kind of unnecessarily complicated if you still want to use static images, but other than that it's great.

Not if you have more than one monitor imo. Can be distracting as fuck and its super weird only having one screen animated, or be something completely diffrent than the other. Also, if you have a bad rig it's going to drop some fps aswell. I've only used it for a day or two. Fun to fuck around with though.

It's totally not worth it if you have a higher resolution than 1080p. I submitted a refund, because it was hard to find any wallpaper with 1440p resolution.

I've got two monitors, one I keep horizontal, and one vertical. The horizontal one has colorful smoke particle set up with the music off, and some times I just stare at it while I'm working. That alone was worth the $4.

Yeah. There is a LOT of anime shit though. If you're into that, it's good, but otherwise you need to do a little bit of digging.
