Damn that looks comfy as fuck. Jelly my dude, hope you enjoyed yourself.
I fucking love Asians.
In Tokyo right now, what should i do?
>>6968305
Go to ebisu circuit as a day tip and try out the drift taxi there.

doing alright. Japan always gives me these melancholy vibes, where I feel sad but in a sweet sort of way. the night shots with rain and bright lights move me, but I don't know why

Capitalims at its finest, work till you die with hardly any time off or leisure time. The time you have outside of work is being consumed by video games, manga, anime, and other non-human interactions. They are going to be extinct within 100 years due to lack of breeding.
>>6969445
thats a big city
>>6969655
Are you joking? Weather wise it's disgusting and virtually unlivable for a person from a first world country where central air is commonplace

Stop watching porn and your depression will go away after 3 months.
i lived there for 3 years, made about 8k dolars a month and worked 40h/week. Came back to my country to take care of my parents.
I have no idea where those myths come from. Don't take the biased reports from western media as the gospel truth.

I just came back myself. I would spend a lot of time in Akihabara. Not much of a weeb myself, but the lights are beautiful at night.

Shinjuku, Shibuya and Harajuku are good for seeing the modern pop culture side of things. They also play host to a fair few niche shops which tend to sell (unintentionally) humorous items of clothing. Try to go on a Sunday to get the best out of it - that's when the kids are taking a break from homework to dress up all funky.
Iirc near Harajuku there are also a bunch of nice shinto shrine that you can view.
Roppongi is good for partying, as is Ginza - but Ginza tends to be more expensive.
If you like fish and sushi, go to the Tsukiji fish market (if it's still open?). It's better to go early because its less busy, but its worth going for the local atmosphere. You can buy things like tea and herbs there, and the sushi there is freshly made and surprisingly cheap.
I'd also recommend scouring the backstreets and alleyways whilst in Japan. That's usually where the best restaurants/cafes are hidden away.
>>6972433
I can confirm this statement.
>>6972433
My best was something around 1-2 months, ant that's after one year trying. How can you even do 3 months without porn. Are there some tricks I don't know about, or is it just super strong will that is required?
>>6968560
definitely check out sangenjaya area in tokyo
can someone be so kind and also post some summerly/summeresque pictures? i love the sea..

look at all those sheeple whose backs are stooped and sore from the burden of Big Umbrella weighing them down.
Have one of part of Japan's underground. Also any other underground japan papes wanted. (sewers, cisterns, parking garages, caves, mines, etc.)
>>6975405
that was one thing I loved about japanese cities when I lived there.
>>6975402
damn that looks cool the way everything except the products in the vending machines is out of focus. Its like the will of marketing brought to life.
The elevated walkways and pedestrian flyover ramps for getting around/over/across streets and intersections. Some even had elevators for wheelchair access.
I wish we had that here in the states.
The things you get to see in the navy.

doing what?
The cities of Japan are very pretty at night. I loved the moodiness of areas like this.
>>6979491
This shot isn't as good in my eyes, it seems muddier/noisier, but captures more of the alley. Only so much my phone could do.
Originally there was this bright as fuck light at the top that pretty much ruined the image, I've done my best to burn it out with gimp.

Roppongi? Have fun getting harassed by Nigerians on the street and finding no one but desparate foreigners in the clubs. Shinjuku is much better for night life

Starting to want to live here one day, just to surround myself in the scenery for a chunk of my existence. The most relaxing thing in the world to me is looking at city lights. Just a thought.

If this Nara? It looks like a little shop in Nara where I had lunch right around the area with all of the temples.
>>6968560
I recommend checking out some jazz places out. Went to a few there and hit one lucky shot with some infamous musicians. I met a few people trough tinder as well (no hookups) and they showed me some really good restaurants near ikebukuro. Tokyo is just too big to explore in one week..Try getting around the main districts and enjoy the time you are there
pm: there are no active trains after 12pm learned that the hard way
>>6984504
Yes, it was very close to all the temples. Perhaps it is the same shop?
