I had a dream about Pokémon last night. I have a love hate relationship with Pokémon; on one hand, I love board games, and I love games that emphasize rules + turn-based gameplay, but Pokémon is just so horrible unbalanced and redundant it's unbelievable. Why do you need a theme? You can modify the colors as you wish without changing th theme. There are some window decorations but most of them suck so I'm usually using the default one (pic related is called "Breezemite"). You can also download any icon set you want. I'm using Papirus.

Its rainmeter, literally only rainmeter. Look up "ayychloe" on deviantart and go to her maim theme, download it and the rainmeter skins are there. Pretty easy and may look nice to you but not always very practical desu.

I'm sure this has been answered before but I'm trying to get as much information as I can (still trying to get a proper arch install to boot).

Quick questions: Is getting rid of a desktop environment and only using a WM a good idea for optimal rice?

Do most applications allow changing their color themes and so on by editing simple config files?

Is it better to gradually get used to Linux/bash or will I do so by trying to rice everything at the start?

2. Pretty much all GUI applications use your GTK theme, which can be changed easily with lxappearance. Terminal-based programs use your terminal's color scheme.
3. You can learn a lot by ricing, but ricing will be easier if you learn beforehand. Don't worry if you don't feel like learning everything, it'll come naturally.
