Really dig the icons and colour scheme. Not a fan of the font though.

It feels really good when everything is put away, and I really like how the colors draw attention away from the completed items on the to do list, but the other two items feel wrong for some reason.

Also, I'm thinking of changing the color scheme. The yellow does what I wanted it to (drawing attention towards itself and away from the red), but I don't really like it.

I dunno, maybe I'll just scrap it entirely and start a new one.

Nah, I'm just fuckin with you, sorry for the rudeness. If this is really a first attempt, it's bretty gud! Very tasteful, minimalistic, functional, and the 'almost monochrome' feel gives it a pinch of flavor in that mountain peak. My only complaint is the inconsistency of line weight. The app icons a lil thinner than the clock/navigation bar buttons, but this a minute detail, and I understand there's only so much you can do. I'd give it a genuine 9/10, well done.

Very interesting... Yours worked fine, so I added a toggle for changing the color of a circle. It worked fine, so I added the rotation. The touch activity only works when the group is in its original position (unrotated).

I had already gotten rid of my app group, but now my to do list is in the right spot to be touchable. I'll upload a video in a bit.

So the way that I learned to "open" the music controls is through global variables.

If you are in the "root" folder of KWLP, scroll right untill you hit the global variables section. Click the plus button in the upper right and a dialogue box will prompt you to choose a title and type. You can title it something simple such as "Player". For the type, choose the text option.

This will create an empty global variable (gv) called Player. Do not worry about the fact that there is no value next to it. This value will be changed later.

For simplicities sake, with the icon pack you have linked, the best way to make a button that is play/pause would be to now add a TEXT, and I repeat, TEXT file to a new overlay group in the root folder of KWLP. Make the font of the text file Material Icons 4. In the Text section, where you edit what it will say, place the following without quotation marks
"$if(mi(state)=playing,o,W)$"
What this essentially says is, if your music is playing, then display "o" which in that font pack is the pause button. Else display Capital W, which is the play button.

Now scroll over to the "touch" header of your text and press the plus button in the upper right to add a new touch feature. Change this touch feature to music controls, play/pause.

Now get out of editing the text file, but stay in your overlay group. Scroll right untill you reach animations. Click the plus button in the upper right to add an animation. Change this animation to formula, and then the action to fade in. I can't seem to get this to work with any options other than fade in, but you can certainly try. To be safe use fade in for now. Now we are going to be messing with the global variable we made earlier. In formula for this animation put the following without quotation marks:
"$if(gv(Player) = 1,1,0)$"
This essentially says if our GV is 1 then keep it as one, else keep it should be 0. Thus when the GV gets set to 1, the play/pause button should be visible.

This is great, but how do we change the GV? We'll go into editing the FontIcon/Text that creates your "music button" in the bottom rectangle. Scroll right to touch and click the plus button in the upper right. Make this touch "Toggle Global Switch". This prompts a new section called "switch". For Switch choose our previously made global variable called Player.
Then in the text section, put this without quotation marks:
"$if(gv(Player) !=1,1,0)$"
This essentially says if your global variable isn't 1, then set it as 1, else set it as 0.

Congrats, you know should be able to hit your music button and have your "player" open up. Feel free to customize your overlay group more and add more shit. There may be a much better way to implement this that another anon can show us, but that GV player can actually be used to handle multiple icons by using different numbers for the icons, such as 2 being your calendar, etc.
