Geralt is one of the top Witcher's the north has ever made while Lambet and Eskel are far more average as Witcher's go.
They didn't get much face time because the game really wasn't about them and in truth the Witcher games were never supposed to be about Gerslt in the first place.
CDPR was gonna make it about a male or female Witcher who would be the main character for the trilogy with Geralt as a supporting character like Triss.
They scrapped it though once they had a lot of shake ups in the direction of the game and engine change

I've hated yen ever since the sword of destiny when we found out just how much of a manipulative, shallow, whore she was.
The more you read in the books the more progressively clear she makes it that she's up there with Sile, Phillipa, and Francesca as arguably the worst people in the series.
It's also really clear that Geralt doesn't love her but is tricked into believing he does by her since he has little concept of how those specific emotions work(he can have them but like a 16 year old he barely understand what means which) as he spent the first 80 years of his life with almost no friends besides his guild and a black market duo he used to know.
I chose Triss first and then just mentor Ciri for my second

Besides beating his wife in a drunken rage and being a shitty father? I loved the Baron, and The Crones + his quests are my favorite so far that I've played, but he was flawed severely and definitely did some things wrong. His quest should end in tragedy because it completes the flawed and regretful nature of him.
