How do you sort your wallpapers?

I don't. I just throw them in a folder called "Pictures" and get annoyed at myself when I can't find the one I want.

I have a folder for the wallpaper category.

And then I name each wallpaper in that folder incrementally.

Example

Folder is called "Comfy" for wallpapers that are closed in and generally nice to look at.

I then name all files in the folder 1.jpg, 2.jpg and so on and so forth.

I have different folders for my other pics based on categories (e.g. reaction images, 4chan screencaps, pepe, ANTI-SJW stuff etc) and name every pic but thats only because I use them on a day to day basis, for my wallpapers I just throw them all in 1 folder then set that folder to rotate. I hardly ever need to actually post my wallpapers anywhere but when I do its fucking annoying.

Why not use hydrus? It is available on github, this way you can create a local booru like library with your own tags, or you could just download some text and apply them to your images. You can even configure how a tag will look like
e.g. #sun, sun, %sun, @sun
Whatever suits you

One big folder, but if the pape has a subject (like "painting" or "statue" or "women" or "avatar") I put the subject first, then some descriptive words that I could search for, assuming I don't know the title or artist.
Example of specific filename would be "painting Desolation of the Empire Thomas Cole." Nonspecific example attached.

I don't store them; I come here, dload a few I like, try them on, pick one and delete the rest.

One folder, Wallpapers General, and I only title the wp if the poster wrote anything, I c&v whatever was tied to the post. otherwise just the 4chan filename.

Used to have thousands and thousands in all sorts of folder heirarchies but was dicking about in regedit to get the theme set up to cycle through different folders. New PC doesn't have that many papes but all I do is name them with [medium]_[series/artist/etc. title]_[further descriptor]

I just throw them all to a drive folder I share with two friends. We might start to sort them by some stuff, like color, anime and then resolution. That would be actually the needed tags. Like, PINK -> ANIME (yes/no) -> resolution (<1080/1080/1440/4K/4K>).
