meh i just finished my contract as an 11B. Best and Worst, its going to be one hell of a ride OP. And scouts are cool asf, its what you make of it man. I had a fucking blast in the Army, and i want to re enlist, but ill finish school first and then go officer.

After OSUT you'll want to prepare yourself for sitting on your ass and playing on your phone all day, or sweeping the motorpool for the 37th time. Even if Syria does happen I wouldn't expect deployments like in the early days of Iraq/Afghanistan

I hated my entire enlistment but at the same time enlisting was the best decision I've ever made. Never got to deploy and my unit was utter garbage. Gross incompetence at every single level of leadership. There wasn't a single person who didn't absolutely hate it there. But I grew a lot through the experience. The Army is more or less what you make it
