I just moved away from Austin. It's a cool city and there is some AMAZING food, but everything is way too crowded.

I'm trying to encourage my parents to retire there though, so I can still visit once or twice a year.

In what part of the city do you live? My wife and I lived there for about two years and we liked it a lot but we lived way up near Round Rock.

We moved to a smaller city and while it's not as 'cool' as Austin, we got a nice 2BR apartment in a cool part of the city for cheaper than our tiny apartment in the middle of nowhere in Austin and we can walk to everything now. I'm glad we moved.

I'll miss the breakfast tacos though. And Torchy's.

I spent a few years in Perth, but it seems everyone's leaving now because of how badly Colin and his mob fucked up and didn't have a plan for when the mining boom ended.
In Canberra now, seems to be the friendliest and most livable city in the country, aside from all the politicians.
