Do you think that's comfy? wtf dude
>>6865480
That's what people with suicidal depression find "comfy" I've noticed from my years of lurking on this board.
These pictures are not comfy :((
>>6863984
This makes me comfy.
>>6865529
That's at Hobbiton here in NZ. That cat is friendly af.

I don't have depression nor am I suicidal. I also just find rain very comforting and have since childhood
>>6866522
I am with you
Comfy threads in the rain are fantastic
Yeah I know it's a gif
>>6866522
Since I was born my mother would sit outside and rock me whenever it rained, rain makes me feel a kind of joy thats unique.

I have depression, and I am often suicidal. It is a wonder I'm still alive, at 49.
And I like OP's pape, and these others. Thank you all for these.
Also: dubs checked.
This used to be posted pretty often, but I haven't seen it in a while. Don't be too harsh if it's still around a lot.

>49 and checking dubs on 4chan
you do sound depressed
sorry for poor quality, took it on my old phone
>>6863977
OC allowed?
Is this a painting or a photograph?
>>6872344
It's a painting. The headlight's beams --and the lighting in genera-- are a tell for me. So's the lady in the restaurant. But damn this is good.
>>6872329
Where is this? It's stunning.
>>6872344
>>6872395
Funfact: It's a photograph.
It's part of a series of elaborate photographs staged by artist Gregory Crewdson.

Pic related is my favourite by him

impressive...
>>6866974
Especially when listening to some smooth Jazz

it starts like this
>>6866492
Is this from everlasting summer?
What makes a picture "comfy"?
>>6868847
Yea we can see why you're depressed, I guess you've got some hobbies at least.
>>6872327
You live here? Damn you're a lucky person
>>6872327
where is this anon? it's pretty comfy desu
>>6875059
When it soothes you. I qualify things as "comfy" when they feel like a warming, calming and/or satisfying experience. The few moments after consensual sex are a sort of pinnacle of "comfy", for example.
When a wallpaper or a picture is comfy... to me, it's when it stops you on your tracks, even for a bit, and gives off that sneaky, almost unhearable calling for relaxation. It's rarely a violent feeling, more of a positive influence. It can be ignored or grasped, it doesn't force itself on you.
When something comfy is around you, you feel peaceful by nature.

Jesus this one hit me.
It feels like the joyful days of being a freshman.
It feels like the carelessness that comes with the summer break being right around the corner.
It feels like skipping school on the last couple of Fridays before school ends and hanging out with friends.
It feels like the walk home just before the sun sets.
It feels like getting ready to go out again stay till the sun rises.
It feels like the peacefulness that is riding the bus at 5 in the morning, alone, with a smile on your face.
It feels like freedom.
It feels like happiness.
I haven't felt that in a while, pretty sure I never will again.
>>6875241
I could't have described that better myself...
It's impressive how a single image can sum up most of these feelings...
>>6875241
Don't worry man, we'll all go through times where we remember how great it used to be until we start to realize that the present can be just as good if we make it
>Edgy grayscale & desaturated papes + anime
That is not comfy, go to your correct threads
>>6875241
jesus christ
>>6875761
How is that comfy in any way whatsoever. Remove the grayscale filter, maybe add some saturation to the green and it might pass as a semi-decent pape but there's 0 way that can qualify as comfy.
>>6875766
It looks comfy to me. I look at that picture and I want to be in that place. Its a subjective thing. Also, I am not the one who post it.
>>6875766
didn't make the pic, chill
Some people might disagree, but I find Monet's paintings very comfy. You always feel like you want to be there, in that field, just chilling and taking in the sun.
>>6876437
Who the fuck would disagree with that?
>>6876518
His paintings aren't the typical "comfy" style that people like (rain, darker colors, a feeling of loneliness and warmth at the same time)
>>6863977

>>6875241
Please... this was right in the feels.
I'm 28 years old (29 soon..). I have yet to finish a simple 2 year degree. I miss when there where long summer nights hanging out with friends talking about the future.
I miss staying up on the computer playing games and watching stupid anime until i went to sleep with the moon.
I now have a 1 year old. He's a joy to be around but I miss those lazy days that never ended and you looked forward to everything.
Took this last year while on vacation

>>6877518

>>6870535
Shit dude, I'm 35 and while I don't give a fuck about checking em I'm still here. Because it's a place to pass some time. I'm sitting here next to my wife on the couch while she plays skyrim and the kids are all playing vids too. Not every oldfag here is a sad sack.
