good resolution at least

jesus.
This ones my current pape
I'll dump a small collection I made, of all the planets in the solar system and a few minor planetary bodies
Courtesy of NASA for taking nice pics of those celestial bodies
>>6856491
The only one I didn't make was earth, mostly because the best one is one everyone already knows: the blue marble
And the rest are either meh quality or clearly computer generated
So have the moon instead
>>6856496
>>6856497
Io the innermost of the Gallilean moons, notable for its tectonics
>>6856501
Europa, the moon scientist are most interested in, because of a possibility of huge amounts of water underneath its surface, and with that life
>>6856503
Ganymede, the largest moon in the solar system
It's larger than Mercury, albeit only 45% as massive
>>6856505
There is no love for Callisto unfortunately, because there aren't any proper sized images of Callisto
So here is Saturn
>>6856513
And some more saturn, because I can't get enough of those rings
>>6856517
And a third one
(I admit, this one and the previous were just downloads from /wg/, but I just like how these wallpapers look)
>>6856521
Time for some other celestial bodies
>>6856523
Titan, probably the most famous moon, after the Moon
Notable for being one of only two moons that have an atmosphere
>>6856525
The thick methane rich atmosphere gives a very featureless appearance, even more so than Venus
>>6856526
Dione, the fourth most massive moon of Saturn, behind Titan, Iapetus and Rhea
>>6856530
Enceladus, notable for having such an icy surface that it reflects almost all the sunlight back
>>6856531
>>6856532
Of to Uranus
>>6856534
Unfortunately, Voyager 2 didn't make any real splendid pictures of any of the moons of Uranus, so we're headed to Neptune instead
>>6856537
Triton is the other moon with an atmosphere
Also interesting is that the surface temperature of Triton is barely above the absolute minimum and with that one of the coldest places in the solar system
>>6856538
Next up, Pluto
Probably the highest resolution pictures taken, as it was visited only recently
>>6856541
Thanks to this anon>>6854468
I got to make another for Pluto in even better quality
>>6856543
And we end our trip at Charon, which is only a wee bit smaller than Pluto, which makes them both orbit a centerpoint that isn't within either's body
>>6856513
I forgot to mention that you can see multiple moons in this one
The names of the smaller ones escape me, but the largest of them is Titan, obviously
Anyhow, I hope you enjoyed our quick tour of the solar system
10/10 dump. Saved everything.

thank you 10/10

Thank you anon.
