Still not quite satisfied yet with this, but its not too bad.

The wallpaper's hue changes according to the minutes. Trying to change it on a faster scale but seconds make the transition jarring and I cant figure out how to use a shorter period of time.

The text on the bottom doesnt feel quite right either, not sure what would be better.

Looks good already, widgets would just distract from the picture. Maybe some sort of frost/ice looking icon pack to match the blurred background? High-tension the desktop grid so the apps are smaller and can be displayed around the center focus of the image?

I just decreased the size of some elements and added an automatic background rotation via Tasker. I might add a simple audio scrobbler along the top border of the bottom section. Not really sure what else to add though.

Maybe unrelated but how do I fix my app screen? It used to be like pic related for the longest time (minus 'Forest', I don't have good screenshots). But since I got the newest android version Atom Launcher isn't working anymore. I had only two pages with apps (40+ hidden apps), but now I have 6 or 7 pages that look ugly as hell.

Kustom (or something, what's it called again?) has an 'hide apps' option when you buy it, will it look similair when I use it? Can you get 5 columns with Kustom?

No rom suggestion, but did you try using the good lock app from the Samsung store?

Aside from the weird gimmicks, you can remove the text, add a widget and an app drawer too. But it's pretty limited. And I guess the second gripe would probably the apps not appearing on the screen like that.

Tips on how to use it:

Haven't riced in a long while, here's what I've got after a couple hours of messing around. Running on stock Android 7.1.1; thinking about switching to LineageOS 14.1 to check it out.

Does anyone know how to limit a KWGT music player to one app, like Apollo? Whenever I finish a Youtube video and switch back out to my homescreen the thumbnail from the video shows up where the album art should be and it looks really dumb.

You should try the 3d rotation. Might give you better depth to the image instead of the slanted text.
Keep in mind that the morphing text component has more customizability in this regard than the regular one.

Hide bar or change the widget man. Since I can see the notification bar swiping down from the top of the screen while it's hidden, I prefer to hide it.
Also if your device allows you to use google search pressing the home button get rid of the search bar.
