realtalk tho your desktops not that bad. i personally dont like how the terminal background (like ncmpcpp/fetch) dont match with the borders & title/menu bar, and the scrollbars are redundant if you have a mousewheel. but whatever works for you.
also if youre using a tabbed terminal, why not run both the aforementioned in one terminal?

ThemeEngine, it can edit .car files (in this case Assets.car), which is located in the SystemAppearance bundle (can't remember the actual directory, it's in /System/Library I think).

Thanks. I need to make a backup anyways. Last time i used that app was to theme Tiger to look like Leopard and i bricked that shit so many times it wasnt funny.

I do that all the time too, luckily recovery mode has copies of all crucial system files plus a terminal.

I would just boot into OS9 and restore the backup of the file.
It used to have a "transparent" menu bar and a leopard like dock, but those stopped working and then the hard drive died. I had a really nice system 7 theme going on it too at one point but those photos are lost to the fact that freshman me didnt know what file organization was.

I miss the little intro videos that OSX used to have.
