Just use a launcher that supports hiding the status bar, like total launcher. Pic related, no status bar and no root. But I thought just having a clock widget on your homescreen hid the clock?

It doesn't on Nova. I don't mind not having a clock widget, I just want something at the top that looks nice.

I would rate this a 9/10. Everything matches and works really well together. The only objection I have is of the pattern at the bottom. Its color scheme looks off from everything else. If you changed that to something that matched the rest of the design I think it'd be perfect in my eyes.

The stanced borders is a really nice touch. Not a huge fan of the font used in the top bar, but that's just me. Color scheme is quite good, but I would love to see it with the orange/brown color from the center of the umbrella (again, nit picky, but I think that could be cool as hell). Icons are meh.

The background has a bit too much detail compared to the images and it doesn't really look right against them. You could try looking on /w/ and finding something in the minimalist threads that might work a bit better.

Also that red colour for the elements is nice and looks pretty good with the cool box shadows, but against all that green it doesn't look quite as nice. And the white icons seem a bit big and thick in contrast to the white text. Maybe try resizing your icons down 15% - 25% would help.

Try something like this:
-Try rows instead of a diamond
-Keep the look consistent
-Get rid of notification bar
-No folders
-Either get rid of the Google bar or find a better looking one
-A darker wallpaper
-Widgets that stick to the theme

instead of a button make it a page, especially cause that button transition animation really doesnt look good

remade mine from >>6826675 to something more stock but simpler. i was getting frustrated with the size of the clock. it was good but not great. simething simpler now.
