Help.
I've just set up a fish tank and need a good back drop
I'll print it out on poster paper.
dont do backdrops they look shit unless it's 3D
paint the back of the glass black
i have a few tanks, all have black spray painted rear glass except my 700ltr display tank only because it had saratoga in it so i painted it blue, however now it's a community tank.
Thanks for the tip... But uhmm... I've already set it up and not wanting to drain I to paint etc. I probably will do at a later stage because it's a good idea. But I still want a back drop for the moment
same poster here as above.
dont need to do anything man you could legit paint it set up, the paint goes on the outside not inside, that'd just kill the fish.
just spin it around and get some paper, then use masking tape to stick the paper to the tank around it so it has a barrier to protect overspray, than do 4 or 5 coats of super lite spraying, let the paint dry for 15 mins between coats and bam, sick as tank. and if you've got LED lights it'll make the fish and tank pop heaps good!
^^^ same guy again, this is my display tank, its not set up atm for anything great as i've just got some kribs breeding in it, i'm waiting for my permit for stingrays to arrive.
Looks good
