Reposting from the Official Homescreen Thread...thought that I would try this ricing thing out for myself after lurking through a few of these threads.

Icons are off-the-phone stock (I'm keeping them until I can get a suitable and affordable pack). The clock and date boxes + battery metre were Kustom'd - making them was very satisying in itself. The Wifi icon's sort of a connection toggle button.

How's my first attempt, guys? Other suggestions are highly appreciated too.

OK cool. It's not a terrible start. I dig the grayscale look. It's actually not terrible at all. It's hard to make a status bar fit your overall thing but yours is OK. My only recommendation about it is to increase the font size on the clock to match the rest of the status bar icons and text.

Nova is still the best launcher.
Look up KLWP and KWGT for your customization.
KWGT is just widgets like Zooper. KLWP can make full wallpaper and such.
