Anyone have more images from old I SPY books? It brings a crazy nostalgia rush and I want so bad.
Like remember the ones that were like old towns with little people and shit?

I need dis

If people have these in higher res, that would be awesome.
>>6752486
Wow bump

I have a bunch of scans, almost all the old books, but they're the individual pages spliced together with an ugly seam right down the middle of every picture
I'll pick out a couple pretty ones from skimming through the books. I don't think they'll make very good papes because of the seams though. But if you disagree and want more I can post some more
I have to compress them a little because the filesizes are over the max allowed but they don't look much worse than the source file at all
This was one of my favorites as a kid

You son of a bitch. You Nostalgia'd the fuck out of me
I loved these books as a kid, even found one and bought it not too long ago. Couldn't upload pics without the same seams down the middle as in the ones that have already been posted though.

I had the notion that potentially someone with good skills could fix the spliced section. (I don't have much skill at all, but I gave it a shot for this one) So, here's what a shitty attempt would look like.

Some of them are definitely doable. Here's one I did back when I first got these scans, since it was the easiest to merge.
Some would require some real photoshop magic to merge, though. If I had the time it would be a fun project to go through all the scans and merge the images

Here is my attempt. Could still be better but it's an example of what could be done with this style of picture
>>6752735
Much better.
I'm really just starting to work with Gimp, and I didn't have experience with anything else prior, so I'm happy enough with my results, mostly just posted it though to maybe hype someone else up enough to do it.
Anyone got the Rube Goldberg Machine one? That was my favorite as a child.

Not bad at all for being new to image editing, keep it up
>>6752855
You mean this one?
can anyone hit me up with that robot one? I think it was Can you see what I see but It's made by the some people I think.

Thats the one. Thanks anon!
I loved these books, but did the images ever creep you guys out? there was always something subtly unnerving about them that I could never put my finger on.
>>6754861
Absolutely. I couldn't pin down what it was either, but the I Spy books were definitely my introduction to photography as an art form when I was a child. It was the first time I remember seeing photos that alone invoked an emotional response.

Sure, I've got the whole book. It's called "Treasure Hunt". Glad to share since these books can be kind of a pain to find scans of online. These are the first two pictures from the book: >>6752615 >>6752617
>>6756522
And the last one
>>6756523
Hell, since I posted the rest I may as well post the other pages in case someone wants to save the whole book to keep/share
The cover has some pretty horse stickers
>>6756531
Looks like this particular copy changed hands a bit over the years
>>6756532
I won't post all the blank pages for obvious reasons, but I will post this one because it creeps me out
>>6752604
>tfw i remember that exact one
>>6752604
where the fuck is the musical note
