Three arguments keep me going right now. You could probably logically refute them, but I don't want to considering how low they've kept my blood pressure. Anyways:

1) All is well. Of course it isn't, but people believe in comforting lies all the time. Why not just cut out the bullshit of other people telling you comforting lies for their own gain, and instead lie to yourself to improve your own well being?

2) Futureproblems. A future problem is a problem that must or will be addressed in the future, and is not of concern to you at the moment. With the right thinking, any problem is a futureproblem.

3) Anxiety can be substituted with anticipation. They're more or less two sides of the same coin, so stop paying attention to the worse one. Anything dreadful approaching usually induces the same feeling in us. Family member about to die? Oh dear, I feel bad about it. Exam tomorrow? Oh shit, I'm going to fail. And so on and so forth. But instead of focusing on the negative thought of some inevitable pain, you should try caring more about the positive thought, which is how great you'll feel when the pain is gone. Think of, say, how life will go on and things will work out as they historically have (if you're reading this, you're still alive and that's close enough). Think about all the dicking around and things you do that you enjoy, that you will once again do instead, rather than thinking of the opposite.

I was doing some work while listening to a song the other day. I believed that the song had some kind of meaning to it. The way I see it is everyone has something about them that others don't. It's like a point system, with everyone given the same amount of points, and they are divided differently for everyone.

I myself don't look as great or throw a football as hard as the jocks, but i am friendly and have a good head on my shoulders, something those jocks can only dream of. It also gets specific, like your friend might be better at written tests, but he can't code the way you can, and he doesn't have a political head like you do. You gain points everyday, with everything you learn.

And if you think you were given fewer points than others, you're wrong. Say you went through depression. By being able to heal, it just highlights that you are stronger and can handle more than the others.

My life philosophy is to find where you fit, and you can be truly happy

The way I see it, we all are just tiny people in an incomprehensibly massive world. At the end of day, we all are just humans and we all are just living day to day. The only thing we can truly do is just do what makes us happy. Life can be shitty and unfortunately so can people. Just search for what makes you happy and cling to it. Whether it be a hobby, job, person or so on just keep searching for things that keep you happy. That is what life is about for me, do what makes you happy and while you're searching for those things, you are bound to continuously find things that make you happy.
As well, why give up? If you think you can't do anything correctly, you're wrong. Somebody somewhere loves you or enjoys being around you no matter what you may think. So if you decide you can't live for yourself despite searching for happiness. Live for somebody's happiness. That way you will have truly done something magnificent.

The goal in life for every lifeform is to survive and persist, we are not an exception. The main goal of our organism is to reproduce and with that perdure in some way by perpetuating our DNA, or our "biological identity". But we are not just animals, there's more to us that our genetic code and that is our own personal identity.
For me, the goal of an individual's life is to mould, express and perpetuate their personal identity. Therefore, there isn't a man more succesful in life that the one that makes it to History.
After you die, all your possesions mean nothing and the only that can perdure is your identity: your name, your legacy and the memories.

I have always been and will always be even after I die. Basically, if our current interpretations of the laws of physics are correct (which they probably aren't but it's the best we've got at the moment) then the universe is doomed to die and everything any human will have ever done, is doing and will do will have been for naught in the end.
Why bother? To sate our senses.
Generally speaking, (the worst kind) all humans have a similar capacity for emotions. My philosophy is just to have a good time, let those cleverer than me figure out the science stuff and help others to enjoy their time as much as I am. We all experience joy and sadness and all that jazz and it'd be madness to intentionally inflict negativity on others when it feels so good for both parties to get along and have an excellent time.

The world will not be healed by dogma, rather by ceasing to be individuals and becoming relationships.

Life is about survival. Everything you feel helps you stay alive. Our species hasn't had the time to evolve into better surviving the society we've developed (we have developed it rather fast in the context of human existence) so look at it from the perspective of an animal.
Fear - keeps you away from things that may harm you
Anxiety - keeps you focused on the worst possibilities so you're more ready for them
Love - to ensure you reproduce

You're just the product of something that survived. You are the product of this thing because it just so happens that it reproduces AND survives AND it's produce survives. If you die, the branch ends there. If you survive and reproduce, your children come out just like you to ensure maximum survivability (better to take after something that survived if you want to survive. Right?)

There's no heaven, there's no hell, there's not even such thing as spirits or ghosts. People make these up to make themselves more comfortable. People will always try to avoid the truth because it's so scary and simple and lonely.

The first thing someone notices about me is my smile. You can always find me smiling in almost any situation I'm in. When I was younger my brother use to beat me up almost daily. After all the times he hit me I would be smiling. He asked me why I would smile and I responded that I can't help it. I never understood why I smiled all the time. People think I'm always happy but most of the time I'm sad. I think life has no meaning.I think I smile because I know that all of the pain I went through in my life is for nothing. My life philosophy is to keep enduring all the pain life throws at you because one day I won't feel the pain that is so familiar.

OP my life philosophy is that everything sucks by default and the world is a miserable place to live in, but that doesn't mean I have to be miserable. I will continue the uphill climb toward real happiness until this crappy world kills me. And if I do die (or my spirit to keep going dies) then at least I died fighting.

Life philosophies are interesting because you can only think of them in fleeting moments where your attention isn't captured by everything else that life throws at you... and there may be a life philosophy right in front of you, at any point in time, that you can draw from real experience... you may have even had or will have several life philosophies over your life time. Perhaps that's the underlying point - the only thing that is certain is change. Change makes us prioritise what's important in life, as with change comes death.

So if you know that you will die some day, what is most important to you today? I can't speak for anyone else but I would say family, I would say 'others' and I would generally describe things other than myself because when I'm not having to be 'self-preserving', I'm happier.

I dunno, just figure out what's important and you'll be happy I guess.

Try not to be too critical of yourself imo, I'm like that too... It's hard to break the habit. I need to forgive myself for my fuck ups and I'm trying not to take life too seriously.

I find the world complicated too, probaply one of my factors is my inability to act cos I'm too lazy and afraid of the outcome; like i have to know the outcome before receiving it idk if I'm saying if right.
And probably because I'm too aimless in life... I recently dropped out of uni 5 months ago, hated it and made reconsider another career (studied IT, ughh) and no job as well
I have dreams and goals but idk how to get there or which ones the right one for me I guess (big on ideas but no action I guess hahaha -.- )

I think we just need the strength to keep soldiering on through our lives.
