What are the most aesthetic cities?
Gent ftw!
>>6731338
What's this church called btw? And where is it situated?
>>6731338
I don't have a picture of it, but I am sure someone does. Theres some town in somewhere like the netherlands or finland where its situated in a dark woodsy area and the roads are rivers with houses being their own islands and everyone drives boats. Looks like heave to live there.

>you will never live in a comfy Old World city
>you will only ever know the car-centric New World
>low-density suburbs, aboveground parking, and glass will dominate your life
Just end it now, family.
>>6741833
I don't think you know what Old World And New World mean.
>>6741837
Old World is Europe (generally), New World is North America and Australia. The rest of the world is flyover (except Asia, but they're their own thing).
>>6741838
So you are actually saying Europe isn't car centric with suburbs, aboveground parking and glass everywhere?
Have you seen any major european city?
There's a reason everyone takes cabs in london and why everyone rides a bike or drives a mini in paris.
>>6741840
>So you are actually saying Europe isn't car centric with suburbs, aboveground parking and glass everywhere?
...yes? I mean, obviously some areas are, but on the whole there's still a lot of older (mostly stone) buildings, and the whole continent is more...pedestrian friendly. Compared to NA, at least.
>>6741843
You can say that exact same thing about the US.
>>6741844
Not really, no. New England is nice in parts, same as the Maritimes up here in Canada, but overall the country is designed around cars rather than people.
>>6741847
Yeah, but then cars are designed around people so... check mate atheists.

Apologies for the low res, was the best I could find with minimal effort
>>6741840
He is right tho. Its hard to generalize whole countries let alone whole continents, but European cities are more densely populated than American cities. Everyone in Europe uses a car, but walking and bicycles are a good alternative for getting around even bigger cities. Also public transit isn't as bad as in most cities in the US. Americans really are more car dependent than Euros.
Brisbane is pretty nice to look at, much better looking than Sydney

St Augustine, FL. Oldest continuously occupied city in the US.
>>6752582
Fictional cities are the most aesthetic
It's weird. I've been to NY, and it's a complete shithole, but I still like how it looks. European cities are all impressively made but I just can't stand how they look. Not knocking you guys, because these are nice wallpapers, but I always found those cities ugly. Anyone else have an unexplainable dislike of certain architectural styles?
>>6745353
Damn, that looks nice.
I live here: Dresden... very beautiful and full of culture, arts and history... definetely worth a trip
>>6752686
