Part 3 of my dump. I'll make a dropbox/google drive file and post the link here soon.
Quick introduction to the purpose of these threads: This is a thread for the nostalgic feel of some good children's book illustrations or illustrations aimed at children or papes that resemble the style.
I will try to post daily, but since I have a massive workload right now, I'm happy for every contribution saving this from saging!
Here are the last papes from Peter Sis. His other papes and many more can be found here

And here is the Link to the first thread, which is already archieved:

Hope you enjoy this thread.
So today's dump will feature Roberto Innocenti, who is responsible for the best illustrated version of Pinocchio and also triggered the discussion for a child-friendly reprocession and education of and about WW2 with his book 'Rose Blanche'. In 2008 He won the Hans Christian Andersen Award for his life work.
Polish anons might even know his stuff. This pic over here is a really famous and historically important scene, which he captured outstandingly well. It's a bit dark, but part of his artwork and a reason, why he won the Award.
And now another book of him, his modern take on The Little Red Riding Hood called 'The Girl in Red', which also appears to be a criticism of the consumerism in modern society.

nah this isn't that book. Should have named them smarter.
>>6699894
This is either from Rose Blanche, or from Erika's Story.
I can't see what this pic is, but I'll post it either way
Last pape for today and my favourite by him.
Tomorrow more.

Just wanted you to know that I appreciate what you're doing, anon! These are some of the prettiest papes I've seen in a while and I love seeing your threads. Keep it up!

Never read this but I wish I had this as a kid. I loved dinosaurs.
I wanted to post yesterday, but stuff came in between- but I will post now. Starting with Marcin Wolski, a young polish illustrator. Not sure if he's ever illustrated a book, but his illustrations have a really nice atmosphere that I wanted to share.
A mosquito bit me on the eyelid. I look like shit now.
Last of Wolski.
Next artist is the newcomer Amy Martin who wrote and beautifully illustrated her book 'Symphony City' . One of my favourite illustrations so far for the bold use of yellow. The thread starter pape is from her too.
These are lovely
So that's it for today. I need to research a few papes again, but I should be back in the next two days.
Hello everybody, it's time again.
Random Artists today
i think I've posted this already but I really like Huynh Kim Lien's creations, I could feature them twice.
Minimalism ahead
Ok actually maybe not that much, the image resolutions are too small.
I really wish i could find more of Tamypu, but he/she seems to be very Vietnam-centered and the language barrier is too big. Those are the best ones I could get.
He makes great illustrations. I really have barely time for anything but you will find many pics of him on the drive/dropbox file
Once I've made it. I hope I find time anytime soon.
Zdzislaw Witwicki, now
The reasons for the random posts are mostly, that I either don't find more pics of them because of various reasons, or because their other artwork isn't really fit for /wg/
I'm going after illustrators from different countries so everyone can find something out of his/her own childhood here. The next artist is Martyna Wójcik Śmierska.
Dammit. I couldn't post her possibly best illustrations because there was some kind of file embedded in them.
Have some Pamela Zagarenski instead, the last artist for today
She seems to have illustrated some version of The little Prince, but I can't find any name of that version.
Alright, last pic for today. I hope you've enjoyed it so far.
