Op here, im doing well, college started last week for me. I know this is played out but don't do it, life is worth living may not be great all the time but it wasnt meant to be easy.

I don't plan on it yet. Father died a few years ago, wouldnt want to put anymore stress on my siblings/mother. We do well for ourselves too, so it would look like an attention thing since my life "isnt that bad"

Been riding on a wave of positivity the past few months. Finished uni, got a job and saving up for moving abroad for a year and in general just super open to experiencing new things after boxing myself in for too long and finally realised that all the validation I'll ever need comes from within. Feelsgoodman.

Pessimistic at the moment, desu. Going back to uni soon, which I'm dreading, as it's the most unorganised rabble I've seen in my life. Letting agencies, societies, courses, all of them are fucked in a bleak as fuck city. That, and I'm going to have to seriously manage my monry, more so than usual.

How's college going for you? I'm rounding into my Senior year next semester and it seems like it's gone by way too fast already.

As for myself, I'm coming around OK. Uni is pretty good this semester and I think I've struck a good balance between work / school. Cutting alcohol out of the equation has helped, but I still smoke occasionally. Of course, my plan is if my grades suffer than I'll stop, but so far it's going well.

Well it's my freshman year but so far it's fun I'm happy I can take classes I want to learn l, only downside is my algebra teacher is difficult to understand, overall I'm excited for a lot

Things are looking up. Like most here, uni started this week, looking like this year will be looking peachier than last. I've cut out alcohol like >>6686507
and I hope that's going to be a definite improvement.

qt girlfriend is very stressed over school so I've been comforting her with horror stories of how bad my last year was. Birthday coming soon, she got me concert tickets as an early present.

Oh Algebra. Don't worry too much about it -- visit office hours if you need, and show that you care about passing. The teacher should understand and help you out. I did the same thing. Luckily with my lame ass major, I only had to take one math course. Hope the same for you man! Don't stress about it too much and take it as it comes.

Good to hear that things are going well for you too. You definitely will see improvement over time. Your gf being stressed sounds like good opportunities to treat her to surprises, maybe just to make her feel better if you know she's especially stressed. Congrats on the concert tickets. Definitely enjoy that, it'll be a memory you'll carry with you for a while. I went to a concert with an older girlfriend and every time I think of it, I think of all the good memories I had with her.
