I feel you OP, 2 weeks ago I went to my best friend's funeral, she killed herself. I am still not over it. I'm trying to precess it the best way I possibly can, but I just end up drinking my brains out. Best advice I can give is that try to focus on the fact that hopefully that person is in a better place, no matter if you believe in any form of afterlife. Think that all their hidden pain is finally lifted up and off their shoulders, one thing that is not dead is your memories with that person. Stay strong, man.

my sympathies to you guys. i also lost a friend from suicide 2 months ago. i should've comforted her instead of getting mad at her that night. now i guess that's another thing i'll never live down, because the voices keep telling me that i'm partially responsible, and i can't redeem myself.

but i hope that friend carried you on days you couldn't carry yourself, and that because of them you became better people. at least for me, that's how i think i can honor our nice times spent together.
