Nice.
Can't wait for 4k monitors to drop in price but that'll be another 3-4 years, seems like 1440p however is becoming standard now after so long.

If you're going big and legible you might want to fix your firefox addressbar since it's relatively small compared to the rest of the text.

>>
>>6617450
You don't actualy have to learn CSS. Just google "how to customize websites with stylish" and you should find some tutorials. The only thing you have to do is inspect the elements on a webpage and change the properties, like the background and text colors. The rest is just common sense and experiente you get with time.
Just be aware that this is for basic CSS customization, and not complete overalls.
>>
>>6617576
Yeah I know what your saying. Personally I enjoy things like this when I am actually learning what I am doing.

It's only going to help anon build a better home page if he actually sits down to try and learn as much as he can be arsed to.
>>
>>6617579
Yeah. I mean, I only used basic things (I'm >>6617404 ), so I can't say I know CSS. Just followed one tutorial and use common sense (like I did in school learning basic HTML). And since I don't really know how to hide certain elements, I just block them with ublock.

Thanks. I actually disabled the navigation pane and use QTtabBar. This new pane works and looks much nicer. I also modified the preview pane to accept other file types so it's actually useful. All that stuff with tabs makes a perfect file explorer IMO.

What can you possibly do on the Mint one that you can't on Mac
>>
>>6618104
>>6618105
I got this Macbook for free from my company, no one was able to get Mac OSX on it nor restore it. So I installed Linux Mint on it since it runs pretty well.

No one was able to get OSX on it since we need the credentials of the first user. When I try installing it I receive the error "This item is temporarily unavailable".
If anyone knows how I can fix this then I'll probably just install OSX.

And no, I don't have a restore partition. I can use internet restore from Apple but this is what gave me the error above. Can I make a bootable medium with OSX? Or should I just order a 10.6 disc from the official Apple website.

Fedora: the comfy distro
>>
>>6618267
How does Fedora fare to any *ubuntu distro?
>>
>>6618285
Ubuntu is probably still more easy to use for a beginner than Fedora, primarily because the official repositories don't include things like codecs and have to be installed manually using another repo like RPMFusion. Other than that, you will probably find that the packages are more up to date (for example, GNOME 3.20, newer kernel) and that most everything is unmodified/free of distro specific branding like what is found in Ubuntu.

I made a Hackintosh, so I might can help. First, you're gonna need another Mac. Then, read this:http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/unibeast-install-os-x-el-capitan-on-any-supported-intel-based-pc.172672/

From my experience, the biggest problem was hardware incompatibility, but since you got a Mac already, you should be good.
