depends what kind of data you want to back up.
Contacts can be backed up to your google account.
You'll need a third party app to back up your texts if you want to (just search the play store).
I don't think there's any way to backup regular app data though if you're unrooted.

Question; new phone and I'm new to this ricing thing. I decided I wanted to play around with this pape and I was going to turn the red bar in the background into a battery indicator that would drain with the battery. I had that set up in Zooper, as well as making a render of the ocelot that I could put over the top of the bar. However now my issue is that the widget is only on home page and would not extend to any other of my other pages. Is there anything I can do to keep it static on every page and not have to see the transitions?

Basically I want to use a widget as my background and I'm not sure if there is any way to make it work.

Yes and no. If you want it to be a Zooper widget, you'll need to duplicate the same widget on each page and set the scroll animation to Wipe (at least on Nova). Otherwise, you can't keep a 'widget' static on every page unless you use KLWP.

I'm normally not a fan of such heavily contrasted screens (I have eye issues) but I like this a lot. It's just a very simple and fluid idea that's really well executed. I'd personally like a little more color but really this is awesome. Maybe a slightly thicker font for the the lettering and numbers perhaps? All around great though.

Made a few improvements to the animations, fixed the overlap problem WITHOUT having to cheat and make the drawer disappear, someone suggested only letting one drawer open at a time...i disagree with this, but I did make the middle button collapse all drawers. Now, there is still a problem where there is a delay when closing the drawers and I have not been able to fix this. For this reason, and because a few anons wanted to see how the animations were done, I'm adding in the download, let me know if you can think of a way to fix it. Oh, and also, you'll need to fix any text wrapping errors yourself, sorry already packaged it.

I really like what you're doing here, I think it deserves some careful criticizing (these are just opinions):

- "Messages" is slightly lower than it should be on the y axis, pull it up a bit
- The boxes don't seem to all have the same sizes
- Make the middle row a different color so it can be understood that it behaves differently - maybe a darker blue
- Some drawers fold up and some fold down which makes it a bit confusing. This fixes itself if you do the fix i wrote before (changing middle row color)
- The fading of "Messages" to "Wife" is too slow, either make it faster or use a different animation altogether

Other than that, it looks great and refreshing, would copy 9.5/10
