Hi /weegee/, I rarely post here these days but a friend of mine saw something I did and told me to post it here. I'm gonna dump, and then take requests for recolors or anything else. I'm a shit modeller, but ask me to do something simple like a distorted cube and I can probably render it with pretty ray traces.
Here's an older one I did back in high school.
Here is a dropbox link with the .blend to the first image; unfortunately I lost the source to the second one.

Now for jpegs of the ones that were too big for even /wg/. pngs are in the dropbox.
The reason png compression works so well with the first image but not these older ones is because the older ones were rendered with smaller ray sample counts. They were grainy, which isn't friendly to the patterns PNG compression knows how to recognize.

Thank you.

i like them so far, recoloring should be no prob for "us"
but some versions with similar colors would be intresstzing to me =)
cool stuff OP. Do you think it would be possible to create some small image with borders that can then be tiled, kinda like a texture but for 3d stuff?
Also, might wanna check out chaoscope. It's a nifty-shapes rendering software. Pic related.

yo can do something with very dark grey plus black and maybe some pale/greyish lime?
