Anything that you use so often that it must be on the desktop should instead be pinned to your taskbar. This will allow you to remove at least Chrome, Skype, etc. Those common folders can be pinned in file explorer, which is already pinned to your taskbar (nice), so those can all be removed too. Finally, hide your Recycle Bin. You'll then have a convenient taskbar and nice open space for that wallpaper, which you should post because I want it.

Install the compton compositor. Change your .Xresources so that your terminals have a better color scheme.

Change your WM to something that does less and looks better. Too many icons and shit on your windows. You'll know what the application is by looking at it's contents. You don't need a title bar.
The major issue with your desktop right now is the mess of colors, but like I said, it has potential so far.

I've replaced WP8, which was preinstalled, with downloaded ISO made into bootable media using my own software (it was awful lot of work) and somehow installed it succesfully.
It is quite unstable though - sometimes it uses wrong resolution (because the smallest resolution for Win is 800x600), sometimes it doesn't react to my fingers or just freezes. I need to use external keyboard connected to microUSB port.
Also, UI is not designed for that small resolution, so it looks bad sometimes (pic related)

Still, it's pretty cool
