It's pretty simple to add basic things like day of the week and even music controls are very simple. Add fonticon > change icon > set "touch" to music control. I really just don't love cursive. It's a simple and nice enough screen overall.

You specify the position of the group itself with coordinates, but the objects inside have padding values, and can't usually overlap. So if you have a 20x20 square with a padding of 10 on all sides, and add another identical square with 10 padding, they'll sit next to each other with a gap of 20.
It's handy for placing stack groups inside each other to make grids for app drawers, because you can tie the padding to a global and change everything at once.
tl;dr you can't have a movable dynamic group if your objects are tied to screen coordinates.

Can someone help me with KLWP? I have problems with the music info. Im using an app called Phonogram for music and it shows the duration thing wrong and doesnt display the track title at all. It works in other apps like Play music but with Phonogram it doesnt.
Does anyone knoe what i could do?

As for the home screen, since it's iOS I have to give it a 9/10.
The only thing I don't really like is the location and style of the battery percentage, but I'm not actually sure how much you can change that anyway.

I'm pretty new to making custom themes and layouts, and I was look around for some good themes that I could use and I found this.

I'm a huge RoR fan (I haven't much hours in the game but of what I've played of it, it's good enough to say that it could easily be one of my favorite games), and I REALLY want my Android to look like this. But I have no clue how to do this.

So far I have the font taken care of, mostly (the lock screen clock isn't the same font as the home screen clock), and I have the icons and wallpaper taken care of. I just need to know how to do... Pretty much everything else, using Zooper Pro, Nova Launcher, GoneMad Media Player, and Power Toggle.

Any help would be appreciated!

Not rooted and I don't want to on this phone (literally was the cheapest one at the time, don't think it can handle all of that.) But I will keep those in mind for when I upgrade. I don't think I can move the bottom icons because that's actually the dock and "below" that, where you can't see it, is my homescreen/back/open apps short cuts. Nice use of the icons and the navigation bar looks clean and soft even though it's default. Pape has a comfy feel to it but that widget font is kind of bland. My suggestion; shrink the top widget's width to match the bottom widget and change the font to something lighter and softer.

To maintain consistency between having little boxes, maybe make the popup smaller (i.e. not edge to edge). The buttons look like boxes, but the pop-ups look like the orange is being split or looked into.

If you prefer the idea of little peepholes, you could make the popups square. I like both ideas.

Having some issues with KLWP. I'm assembling a simple music player from scratch, and I've almost got it. The only thing is song titles that run too long start a second line, as I did "Fixed width" for the text to stay within my border. How do I either cut them off with ellipses or get it to automatically resize smaller to fit? I can limit the lines to one, but it doesn't say that it's cut off at all. Pic related.

Make your text either $tc(cut, mi(title), {number})$ or $tc(ell, mi(title), {number})$ to cut or ellipse, respectively.

Another fun option is to make the width of the box equal to ((minimum value)+((approximate width of a character)*length of mi(title)).
But with such a wide font in such a large size, you'll probably run into the side of the screen.
You could compromise and make the height of the box dependant on a rounded division of (textwidth/maxwidth), so that the text goes to another line and the box becomes larger downwards. Just ideas.

got sick of my old setup, was feeling motivated by the /wg/ inspo album and blatantly ripped off one of the designs. quite pleased with it right now but i'd like some additional functionality, custom app drawer and some neat gestures, but i'm not really sure where to start. animations on klwp confuse the shit out of me and i don't know how to do much else than wallpaper scroll. any help would be very welcome

looks pretty good, but the music player is a bit clunky for my taste. it seems like a lot of unnecessary space usage, you have the song name and artist listed twice. is there way you could change the 'inner circle' to be transparent or, if album art is a must for you, to have just the album art at a fill(as in, no visible edges on the art itself)? i think that would look a lot better.
i would also recommend making the lines on the music player thinner overall for better consistency. an alternative to this would be making the lines on your icons thicker to achieve that consistency. i think you could also choose a different/thinner font, but that's down to personal preference.

thanks, icons are from "hexagon android theme" by drugi on deviantart. icons come as images w/ a psd for customization. added the black stroke around them in klwp.

Stock is beast though. Applying any theme would add even more bloatware, unless you root/void warranties, that is aside the fact that it is stable.
