im using a program called start10 which changes the start menu in windows10 to act like windows 7 (you can keep the windows10 one if you want). Its also got a lot of customization for thetask bar for example the blur and textures.

can anyone recomment any good weather apps for rainmeter?
all of the ones I've found are shit.
the one that comes with Enigma show the current day twice, which makes no sense to me.
I'd like a minimalistic one with condition (with just an image like rainy cloud) and temp for about 3 days, but it has to automatically update every 30 min - 1 hour, or allow me to adjust that.

I keep it pretty simple, only having a few things I care about seeing regularly. The only thing that may stand out is that I have the colors for all of the elements change automatically when I change wallpaper.
I sub out wallpaper all the time, and needed a setup that accommodates most layouts and color schemes, so everything is tucked in the corners, with the visualizer running the length of the taskbar. I use Chameleon to sample the major foreground and background colors of the current wallpaper and update the skins.

go to taskbar and start menu properties
check box for auto hide the task bar

New to rainmeter, anyone know of a good reminder skin? Ideally something that would popup with a customizable message after a given amount of time has passed and allow me to specify a new timer/message from the desktop. Being able to set multiple alarms at once would be nice, but not necessary. Doesn't need to run for more than a day, or keep running when the computer is off.

In general, where do you guys fine skins/themes, too? I see there's stuff on Reddit and DeviantArt, but I don't really know how to differentiate what's good from shit, nor how to search for it.

Here's some tips, don't fucking use honeycomb. And if you are, at least put it to the sides and only use around 10, so it doesn't take up half of your fucking screen. The same could be said for your clock, it needs to be smaller.
My rules of thumb are: Less is more, and Rainmeter should compliment your pape, not fucking become it.
