Can I ask how you exactly did this bcs you made it look rly good desu. I'm guessing you did some hue/saturation layer and matched it with the original socks. But I'm still curious of how you did it. Would be much appreciated if you could show me.

most of it is redraws desu

process
1. draw new linework over the top in some new layers
2. draw basic flat color layers below the linework, covering up the old ties with solid grey stocking, and picking colors from the original image
3. duplicate original image, desaturate, and set to grain merge masked to my stocking layer. fiddle with the color curves until the shading sorta matches (this is part you asked about)
4. smudge tool on that shading layer to get rid of the shading of the original ties and blend it with the existing stocking shading at the bottom edges
5. draw/shade over the top of redrawn area to finish up. stuff like adding the 'glow' where skin color bleeds through stocking, all of the ribbon shading
6. be tired of redraws, post, get food

would post source file but it's already deleted, sorry, hope helps anyway

I extruded squares in a vector program, then removed the background.
With stretching and distortion it might be made to fit.

I think trying to draw everything from scratch would be extremely tedious.
