chromebook pixel is dead now and you won't see a return of premium google android tablets anytime soon after the pixel tablet, what comes next are chromebooks with m7 chipsets, tegra chip models are showing up with working project names, android applications are coming to chrome os with native support now, indications of android O and chrome os having integration from phone to desktop like you have never seen. let's be real, desktops are dying off, I myself was developing through ssh to a server I'd set up as a mobile vimlike IDE and was using that for so long that my filco actually gathered some fuckin dust. we all know stallman is right but we will never be on free software, however chrome os has pushed linux into the hands of so many people, and it's stable, fast as fuck, now that is has access to the play store you have a lot of apps to have access to. I'm not a big gamer, but having access to hearthstone is fucking cool. Tablet/Laptop conversions are selling more and more, even if it's not the primary feature, whereas chrome os heavily encourages it through the use of android apps. Linux is in the hands of most people every day, even though they don't recognize it, so I think you meant to say the year of *desktop* linux will never come, and honestly you could not be more wrong, this shit is fuckin hype and I highly encourage you to check it out. Godlike font rendering, excellent security, developing on it is actually really fucking cake via ssh in crosh, however I've been using termux for android with tmux as a pseudo development/irssi screen that I can just keybind into. shit's fuckin dope boi and it's only going to get better hardware :^)

I liked Deshou, but font was too small for a smallish 1080p screen and I don't want to scale everything, only font.
I tried to change font size, but Windows font/colour changer doesn't work with custom themes (only a few font sizes to choose from, after changing everything it lets me change some text is still unchanged). Is there any way besides editing the .theme file? I'm too stupid for that.

Just switched over to AIMP to try it out. It's a pretty comfy music player, but I'm having one problem with it. The LADIENT 2 skin is having some really weird aliasing issues.

I've tried looking around for the solution at the source of the skin on DeviantArt, and on the AIMP forums. While I did notice some mentions of the problem, there were no solutions. Pic related is an example of the issue, and it's present pretty much everywhere in the skin.

I posted this in /g/'s Stupid Question General and it doesn't seem to be getting any support. Can anyone help me out?

the script I'm currently using is around 1200 lines, I didn't really modify the structure of yt itself (the boxes are in the same position as before), only transformed the header into a sidebar, it wasn't that difficult, plus contraty to Google, Youtube rarely modify its source code.

Your windows don't really feel cohesive.
Your browser especially doesn't fit the material, borderless, minimalist design of Deshou. Your music player's color scheme is off from the rest of your VS as well.
I'm not sure this was done on purpose, but I would suggest just changing your icons instead of removing them entirely and losing the functionality and the screen space.

It seems like you aren't really sure what you want your desktop to look like, and I think you should figure that out first before you really start changing your setup
