It's nice but both of them (left and right) are stale ricing trends now. Feature the ones that does something different. Minimal low effort homescreens like the middle one aren't bad, but they're just too basic.

How do I load a KLWP Preset. I downloaded a preset a while back and I can't seem to load it even when I moved the folder to my phone, whether to an open directory or new folder

I'm sure it's possible to do that, but I haven't really tried doing it myself. I just use tc, the text converter formula to cut off music names when they're too long. If you do something like $tc(ell, mi(title), 20)$ then it will limit the song title to 20 characters, and put ... after those 20 characters.

Just a warning, it also relies on a pretty specific nova launcher setup. It works as is if you have three pages and the "In and Out" scroll effect. I also have the third page set as the home page and an invisible widget there so it can exist with nothing on it. The other two pages to the left are just widgets. If you want to mess around with it though I'm sure you could make it work for a slightly different setup

Is there any way to remove the small white circle at the top of the dock on stock android? Didn't see anything written about it in the pastebin, and I've been messing around with the nova launcher settings trying to remove it. Disabling the dock in nova launcher didn't remove it

I've never seen anyone do scrolling text for music info. Best implantation I've seen is to use the $tc(ell,...)$ function to get the text to cut off at a certain number of charters with ellipses. Afaik it's not actually possible to do scrolling text with klwp, though I could be wrong

Hi guys! When I saw this thread and what ppl dump here I was amazed and said "Oh god! I want a wallpaper like that". So I read about ricing, but I still don't get anything.
Can someone explain to me how to delete the dock and let the app icons move more freely (now they are stuck up there and I can't move them to bottom)?
I'm posting a screenshot.
I think I'll have to jailbrake my pone (is that what it's called?).
Idk how to do that.
I'm dumb.
Hope someone answers my question.

Nice wall! Only complaint from me is the white box behind search, and maybe the font (seems a little plain). I'd also lower the opacity of the black box just a tad since the background is so dark already that it makes it look solid black (which isn't necessarily bad but personally just isn't my taste. You do you). Otherwise, simple and user-friendly. I'd go so far as to say that it's a bit empty but that's also personal preference. Not bad for a first timer (?) at all.

Thanks for the feedback! So I dumped the text (I've been using it for a while and wanted something new), the white box was the battery bar but I revamped that together with the whole widget. I also use muzei so the wallpapers change every 6th hour. Anything else I could do to improve it?

So I couldn't find a good widget/minimalist text/nova/klwm for wifi or cell signal - I just want a straight horizontal configurable bar. Am I going to have to root for it? I'm pretty satisfied with this for now though.

Nice, your taste in walls is really great. I'd remove the dashes from the volume and clock and align the dot/make it smaller so it doesn't look so out of alignment with the google icon and the camera icon.

Get a different icon pack. Maybe put some widgets? It looks tidy but doesn't look like much otherwise. Get a little creative, you can do that without ricing.

Probably one of the only decent ones I've seen towards the tail end of this thread lol. The render is nice and I like how the circle really pops out; seems to add something to the "render in box" meme. Only suggestion would be to make that top left box a little taller and space out the lines of text a bit vertically. Mayeb also a different font? Other than that good shit

so i set up a bunch of looping gifs as a background because i'm far too lazy and dumb to get anything more going, but i think the result is alright. im sure someone who knows how to work it out could make a much better lain themed.. theme.

im manually cycling through every gif to show them off by the way, but they actuall change every 5 minutes.

Part of it is probably because there aren't many things posted that are particularly original or well done. A lot of the things people post are really simple or generic and there isn't much to comment on those. Then there are all the low effort ones where people only change their wallpaper and add a clock widget and expect people to rate it.

Really like this idea but it feels somehow both empty and cluttered. There isn't really a good hierarchy of information, which makes it confusing to look at. The eye isn't really sure where to start first, y'know? I'd suggest figuring out what you want to be the primary piece of information there. Is it the clock, the date, 赤齣, etc? Personally, I think that background would work better in a more minimalistic sense, but that's just my own preference. I'd play more with the configuration of space here at any rate, it's a cool idea.
