Just an observation that someone else (presumably)
turned her suit flesh-tone and missed that detail.

Don't know much about the series but a Wiki tells me she's
a "pure intellect" downloaded into a cloned body.
In other words, she's flesh, whereas robots are metal.
In SF such artificial beings are androids. Or gynoids in her case.
George Lucas was too stupid to know the difference and he's
ruined everything from movies to smartphones.

What did you have in mind?
No filter can add detail that's not present in the first place.

What DID you have in mind?
Filters CAN remove spots or Moiré patterns or enhance edges.
The downside is that they also remove details and introduce artifacts.

this is my attempt. is less jagged.

i also, hope he is happy. i used the waifu2x service [http://waifu2x.booru.pics/] to carry out the first of the scaling.
then, i added the noise texture to restore the detail of sharp texture. this area is difficult (to reproduce the texture of the noise). but the use of waifu2x is always necessary as a minimum in order to nicely upscale (づ ˃̶ ω ˂̶ )づ not use bicubic !

i hope i have correctly explained.

Use color to alpha instead of cutting/clearing the background.

Scale image back down to original size using Linear interpolation. That's how I was told to do it anyway.

Can someone explain "Render in Shape" to me?
Only on this board does "render" mean "transparent background".
Most places use "render" as "color and shade CGI to look photo-realistic"

When I Google "Render in Shape" I'm shown either seemingly random images
of objects or directions for using a program.
None of these seem appropriate.

Not JUST but I use GIMP and follow >>1962641 steps. Make sure to double the image resolution with one of the waifu x2 sites, just google it.

If it's a shitty black and white image or a screenshot of a anime I usually just use quick select in Photoshop as it's usually good enough.

For nice artwork or something I have a plan for myself I take a lot longer using GIMP and color to alpha. It should give better results and on some images you can do things like render a wing or bits of hair transparent which can look great depending on what you overlay it on.

Hello there, I was wondering if I could request a small favor.

I recently found this enlarged picture of an Angel's Egg picture and it still looked great, except the sides were all messy and whatnot. So I cleaned up both sides in Paint by just coloring everything black.

What I want to do is add stars like you see in the middle of the photo to everyone on the picture, but I don't want to use Paint to do that, since I'm sure it'd just look ugly.

Would anyone be willing to help me with this?
