Got an updated picture since I just got a receiver and some cheap speakers till I get the cash together to upgrade them. Wires are all over the place since I have not done any wire management yet since I just got done installing everything.

The four I play with the most now is g/w standard humans, u/b modern zombies, monoblue modern mill, and u/b EDH zombies. I also have r/b modern vampires, monoblue modern merfolk and am currently working on a u/r kaladesh deck. I've only been playing since April and I'm really loving the game so far!

I think the last Standard deck I played was a Mono Red deck back when Goblin Rabble Master was still a thing was fun and running weird cards out of the sideboard was fun.

Mono Blue Mill is a blast did not know that u/b zombies was a thing in Modern I mainly play Lantern Control when someone tricks me into playing Modern. I think the only EDH deck I still have together is a Sliver Deck.

I'm an old fag when it comes to Magic and Mainly Play Legacy at this Point.

i've just installed some shelves, moved my PC to the floorspace next to my chair (which is far more convenient and cleaner), and i've got a few things planned in the future. namely, stuff to mount of the wall directly adjacent to my second monitors, and under-shel lighting.

i'm pretty happy with what i've got going on so far, but i know there's room for improvement, and my next project will be installing some nice lighting to maximize the comfiness.

do any anons know of good ways to do that? i'd like soft, warm lighting the most, since i prefer to keep my area darker.

apologies for the shit picture, i didn't feel like getting my DSLR out.

Not sure if I should say sorry or thanks, but I'm going with thanks anon.

Despite the shitty picture, your setup looks nice. I really like that shelf. You just need a cool lamp with a yellow bulb to make the desk extra comfy. Also, not sure how your light fixture is set up, but if you can get some adjustable spotlights that you can aim on the shelf, it can look pretty nice. I did that recently, replacing a more standard ceiling area light with a few spotlights, and it looks great with the lights on.

i only have a freestanding wall lamp connected to a switchplate on my wall, asides from the lamp i have on my nightstand. i was thinking about running some computer LED lights behind my figs on the shelves since they're typically controlled with a wireless remote, and they dont need to be plugged in. like i said, i prefer to keep my room dark-ish, so id like some comfy lighting behind the figs and a softly lit lamp for me to be able to get my work done.

anon, i don't know much about mechanical keyboards outside of the basics, but isn't it possible to buy any base i want and replace the keycaps? i want to have a completely black keyboard, no lettering or anything, but those are surprisingly hard to find stock on a frame i like.

Depends on the keyboard, but yeah, you can do that with most of them. Just ask on a place like /mkg/ on /g/ to make sure, but if the keyboard has an ANSI layout with standard rows, it's much easier to find custom keycaps.

/mkg/ is usually pretty friendly. As long as you're not buying Razer or Corsair shit, people are happy to give recommendations. A black frame is really easy to find, same for blank keycaps. You pretty much just have to choose a switch and a form factor.

Yeah, Ducky is nice. A Ducky One would fit what you want pretty nicely I think, with a small black frame and ANSI layout, so finding a keycap set is going to be a breeze. If you can, get a PBT one, which feels a bit better to type on and overall has better quality than the stock ABS caps you find on most keyboards.

How comfy would you rate that DX Racer? I've been planning on getting the same one but I'm kinda iffy because of some of the reviews on it.

Not him, but I have the same one, and it is really comfy. If you don't care about the looks they're great. My only problem with it is that after 2 years it's kinda getting worn down. The leather material on the pillows is all cracked, same and worse for the actual chair part (though it's probably because I put my feet there occasionally), and the arm rests have a hole on their inner side because that's where I usually rest my arms on. All that said, it's still a comfortable chair with lots of features but that comes with slightly questionable looks.

Not him, but if you're into candy and snacks, Okashi Connection is pretty fun. Subscribed for a few months, and it was nice to try out new stuff and share with people. Boxes with merch seem pretty terrible to be honest. There are plenty of videos on YouTube with unboxings, and they all seem equally shit, with crap like Pop figures and cheap old unpopular merch.
