This is my latest one; I found this wallpaper in one of the other threads and was inspired by the porch rice from the last thread. Still not completely sure if I'm digging it but I needed a switch up from my last one lol. Any comments/suggestions appreciated (not sure what happened to the framerate but it's a lot smoother on my phone)

Have some free time so I'll rate the ones I haven't rated in previous thread. Feel free to rate and suggest mine.

The only changes I made to my pape was the QOTD font resizing as well as changed the icons (I believe an anon told me to change the reddit icon in particular)

Although, I still have to try out a suggestion that an anon on /wg/ suggested (reducing the music icon size down as well as moving the track information down into the box), (this is more of a reminder to myself when I come back to this thread later on so I don't forget ;-;)

Good call; I switched out the grey/white background for a transparent greenish one which I think looks better. I also got rid of the min icons in favor of some more colorful ones and rearranged them to make it look a bit less boring. I think I'm pretty much happy with how this is now, but if anyone else has any comments I'll check it out.

I thought about doing that but in practice it doesn't come out very well and shifts visual weight in a way that isn't very attractive. I've been doing minimalism for a VERY long time and I've come to the conclusion that small clocks are the way to go for my own aesthetic.

Well it depends on the person obviously, but a large part of it is just the color as well as the subject matter. For example this was one of my way older wallpapers (it's cancer). Logically you'd get more shit for something like this than the one with the gun. Tl;Dr yeah it does correlate with your public image

Throw it out and start again. The colours are ugly and don't go together, the widget is ugly and cluttered and the wallpaper is too busy for that layout. Also the status bar and page indicators would be better off hidden.

The app drawer icon is ugly, change it or be sensible and use gestures. The text is too large and you don't need to know the time down to the very second so the seconds timer adds to the cluttered feel. I would consider using a folder icon instead of just using cluttering 4x4 default folders. It looks like the image you used has some JPG artifacting.

The standard bar setup is hard to cock up, the girl's cute as well. The black is a bad colour choice, look for some other icons to go with a different bar colour (or edit the icons you have). I don't like the contrast between the bar covering the nav bar and the app icon bar. Change both of the colours and consider using the same colour for both.

You mean the semi-transparent strip? You can take a screenshot of your original wallpaper and then edit it on your computer to make the strip. Then you set it back as your wallpaper and drag the apps there (I use Nova Launcher).

I mean, I didn't download it from a repository if that's what you're asking. I made everything myself, from the wallpaper to the arrangement of the icons. I'm sure there are places where you can download KLWP themes to mess around with, though. I've definitely seen them on the Play Store. What do you mean by the menu buttons? The navbar is visible on my homescreen and the statusbar is hideable in a variety of ways. Also I hope you realize the six square thing in the middle is a link to the app drawer so you don't need another app drawer icon there (unless you're not using Nova, in which case I guess you would).

Not bad for a first attempt, although a little cluttered. If I were you, I'd try angling everything parallel to the lighter space in the bottom right corner. Then you could have a music widget/some apps/calendar at the top left, a smaller clock/date going across a little below the middle, and a translucent triangle at the bottom right containing whichever thing you didn't put elsewhere on the screen. Of course, you could just remove some of the stuff you think you could do without on the screen.

Also quite nice for a first attempt. Change the font on your clock/date, make the barcode calendar a little bigger and shift that whole block of text a bit to the right and down, change the app drawer icon or get rid of it (you could probably use a gesture or a transparent icon to achieve the same effect), and get rid of the text under the icons. I'd remove the app name, also change the icon from that app Love Live if you can't, just remove it.
Focuns on the symetry on the left screen and I think you'll have a god rice on your hands. Also, the mimi app has a diferent icon pack then the rest you use.

read op it has a sweet way to make webm but you will need adb drivers usually when you connect your phone to pc on charging mode autoplay will tell you to install drivers than install those after that go to the link webm made easy link in op download it. after making video of your phone convert to webm

I went for reversed animations. Just manually changing a switch in KLWP seems to only turn it on in the animated preview - not change the default setting. Good suggestion, but doesn't seem to work as far as I can tell.
