I really liked this for the first half, it felt like a good Fairy Tail, then it turned into complete garbage. Quite a shame too cuz Diane is such a qt.

My main gripe is that all the relationships feel super forced and I feel like they just threw Diane into King's backstory just to give King a reason to like Diane. It just doesn't seem as natural as it should. The demonblood thing was pretty stupid too.

They ended up rushing it really hard. The idea was to get a multiple cour series going, but the higher-ups decided to just keep it at one since the manga sales went high enough that it didn't matter.
