>Not sure, sorry. But the rest of your setup looks pretty good.
Thanks. After doing more research, it seems only the Windows version of Steam supports bitmap fonts for some reason.
>>
>>1775382
What colors would you suggest anon?

I'm using the red on the workspace and clock to break away from it being all white. I was thinking about making the rest of the taskbar the same yellow as her jacket.
>>
>>1775384
wall is fine imo, i'd use skirt color for background on clock/pomf and just hue shift the bg images for konbanwa to match style.
>>
>>1775217
Oh sorry, I misunderstood your post. What icons are you talking about? You mean in bblean? If so, then you can shift-right-click on your tray icons to hide them, and alt-right-click to display the hidden ones again.

You also might want to disable your workspace switcher; if you edit bbLeanBar.rc you can put an exclamation mark in front of features you want to hide. So for example, to hide the switcher you should have exclamation marks before the following lines:

!bbleanbar.item: WorkspaceLabel
!bbleanbar.item: WorkspaceButtonL
!bbleanbar.item: WorkspaceButtonR

Hope that helps; if you have any more questions feel free to ask.

>>1775376
You nailed your first attempt at bblean. Consistent colors on your homepage would make it look better though. Also consider disabling shadows on your windows to match your bblean. That's only a personal preference though.

>>1775382
You're using Vi / Vim to code right? How long did it take to get used to it? It's very counter intuitive at first.

I have changed the color of "scrollbar" under desktop to 10 10 10, but it has stayed at 240 240 240. I read somewhere scrollbar color is linked to button color.
>>1775419
I haven't found a visual style that looks at all cleaner than the stock aero, to my eyes at least. I had 7 set up okay with one a while ago. I've found tweaking certain bits of the registry works pretty well, like colors and scrollbar width, but evidently it doesn't include anything.

Shaping up really well since last night! The border he's talking about is about 1px all the way around your taskbar (see attached). You can leave it if you want, but I would change the color if you decide to (match the clock bg). I agree with Kuro about the firefox, but I don't really have suggestions for that since there're so many design paths. I like the render size. Makes the desktop less empty when windows are closed.

It's what I'm here for.

Oh also border edits are really easy compared to changing other things in visual styles. Sticking with your current scheme, I would make the color the skirt red. That would look niiiiceeee. If you're in the US, I think you can buy WSB for ~$25 (since Europoor is finally living up to its name lol). There's also some software mentioned a few times that's free but less featured.

This anon again.

I couldn't find a smaller render of Akari, so I decided to go down a different route, I had the taskbar entirely blue, but it looked a little plain and I changed the background color to a light blue.

Any suggestions? Should I just go back to the old one?
>>
>>1775631
I don't think you can.
>>1775633
I'm generally more partially to cool colours (most people here seem to be that way), but your other colours were nice too. Definitely better to have your taskbar like this though instead of solid.
>>
>>1775637
So I guess you prefer this one to the Akari one?
>>
>>1775631
you don't
but you can add it to your menu pretty easily and it's just as convenient

>>1775633
I like both. If you're looking for approval from the collective beards of /w/, though, I think the first one will garner more response.
>>
>>1775637
>>1775640
Thanks anon-kuns, I think I'm gonna go back to the old one and wait until a different render comes out.

I don't know what to do with the Akane circle in the top-left corner.

>>1775152
Don't get too excited, next one is pretty bad.
>>1775165
haxrcorp, huh. I'll see next time.
>>
>>1775639
Yeah, though Akari is the better girl. ;)
>>1775648
Looks nice, though the spacing feels a bit off. I think it would be better if you used the circle to show the messages you are receiving instead of the date and time.

Yeah, I know the spacing is off. I didn't bother fixing it since I knew it would be temp.

Something like this? Only thing about this is that Litestep can only do so much, and I doubt it can display lats received message from let's say Skype. I was thinking more along the lines of a User circle that contained shortcuts to various things, or showed unread message counts.
>>
>>1775669
yeah, thats what I meant, but I know what you mean. I wanted to do something similar, but all the api for skype are broken. It looks awesome though, sad it won't work.
