I found an old floppy with a few screenshots on it, after i converted them over to a usable picture i was wondering if anyone ever heard of this game? Look like Atari 2600 for me?
For some reason it also was named ".jprg" at the end?
Sounds disturbingly like Sinneslöschen.

Company was established that year. Let's find this shit.

UPDATE: I called and got a busy signal. Also, there's multiple companies called Sargon.

I typed the address on that page into Google Maps. It leads to a lighting company building with a lot of private property - Do Not Enter signs.

Could you give us some more info on this floppy, OP? Where did you find it? What other screenshots were on it?
>>4247260
Yeah. I don't think it's the right company.

Not listed.
Nice try anon, but I can spot like 4 problems with this image that make it an obvious fake

> "I found this screenshot on an old floppy"
If you found a screenshot on a floppy diskette it would likely be a hard 3.5" floppy. These weren't introduced until at least 1986 and you more than likely do not have a computer that can read them (assuming you aren't an autist with a 2000 era Windows 98 machine exclusively to play certain games). Basically if the "screenshot" is supposed to be from a 1979 game there is no viable way for there to be a "screenshot" of it on this technology. For it to properly have captured the pixels on the shapes that well it would need to be emulated via MAME and if that was true the FUCKING GAME WOULD BE DUMPED AND ANYONE COULD PLAY IT. There's a reason that if anyone would claim to have "screenshots" of Polybius they would be photographed from a monitor, not an actual "screenshot."
But let's ignore that and just go over problems with the image itself:
> resolution is no known resolution for video monitors
> "looks like Atari 2600 for me?"
Definitely not, Atari games don't look like that and wouldn't have text that smooth
> text is more blurry/JPEG artifacted than the shapes
> triangle has a fucking random pixel that's longer than the other one indicating it was poorly done with the line tool in MSPaint by someone who doesn't fucking know what they're doing trying to make a hoax
> Copyright symbol is (C) for some reason instead of actually making the copyright symbol. If this were from a video game in that era they would have made a custom font facing IN THE GAME DATA and been able to make the Copyright symbol because they could have just fucking drawn it. The (C) REEKS of someone using the text tool and just pretending to put the copyright symbol there; what's hilarious is you could have taken 10 seconds to Google "copyright symbol" and copy pasted it and got it right
> Text and shapes do not follow any sort of standardized grid patterns which a retro game would use.
tl;dr definitely fake, try harder faggot

this
he saw the new ahoy video and got inspired

Your post was good but I think you have autism.

Wrong, 3.5" drives came to the market in '83. It does not have to be a HD floppy.
>and you more than likely do not have a computer that can read them (assuming you aren't an autist with a 2000 era Windows 98 machine exclusively to play certain games).
This Should be encouraged on /vr/ and not made fun of, people who don't should even be on this board.
Also, he didn't say anything more, the floppy could have been from i.e. 1995 from some bored teenager and a excotic picture editing programm.
It's bullshit though, obviously not real. OP saw RetroAhoy's video want though he's clever. You're a dumbass also for failing so hard with your wikipedia history.
>>4246898
For me it looks like a phone game.
>>4248131
Looks like an android Asteroids clone?
>>4246898
I've seen a screenshot that looks startlingly like this before, but where?... Also the timing of this post is such a WEIRD COINCIDENCE.
>>4249083
>probably fake
no shit it's fake, if anyone fell for this their IQ is the same as their shoe size
>>4247848
A lot of these reasons are bullshit.

>Look like Atari 2600 for me?
Your lookfu is not strong.
