This. Bosses are so much better when you go buster only. I feel megaman would benefit from having powers that worked better during the level and didn't focus solely on destroying some boss (like gravity beetle's power). There's a reason people like Storm Eagle's power so much.

Yeah, In megaman 10 on some bosses the weakness weapons only did full damage if you used them correctly; for example, setting up chill spikes for nitro man instead of freezing him directly, or using the explosions from command bombs on Blade man instead of hitting him directly.

Oh, I also like how chill spikes destroyed the trucks on the nitro man stage, really nice detail

I remember burner man in MM&B was still pretty tricky even using his weakness. Too bad all the bosses weren't like that.
