Do they call it Collision Chaos because the collision is fucked? I went straight through the pinball bumpers a few times which is kind of shit when the boss fight makes you utilize them. How am I suppose to use something I sometimes go straight through?

The Taxman version should have let you pick each level track individually rather than just JP or US. Imagine going from Collision Chaos Present with the JP music to the Good Future with US music. It would have been perfect to just mix and match like that.

Make the levels less vertical. Sonic doesn't have any way to move vertically in a satisfying manner other than physics launchers like half pipes and ramps. Sonic CD levels are super vertical but there's barely any way to use Sonic's physics as it all relies on springs and launchers. It creates a start/stop feel to the gameplay that doesn't utilize Sonic's fluid movements correctly.

i agree,after playing alot of super mario maker as a 90s sonic fanboy i now see mario is the superior platformer,though sonic was much more cooler
vertical levels are shit but i enjoyed sonic cd in the 90s,i was the only kid in school who owned a mega cd.
All of the level design would be scrapped for one.
