You guys want to have an Alice thread?
Game is pretty hard. I haven't beaten it yet, but I really like American McGee's twisted interpretation of Wonderland.
Is the croquet mallet really the best weapon?
Fuck Boojums
What say you?
Sorry bro, not retro.
In before this thread gets deleted, play Heavy Metal FAKK 2, Alice was pretty much a mod of that game. Ritual Entertainment developed a heavily modified fork of Quake 3's engine for FAKK 2 and then EA bought the whole code base for Alice, which they used pretty much as is, there's a lot of left overs from FAKK 2 and the non-shooting gameplay is very very similar.
Hard as shit, yes... But the 2nd Jabberwock is fuckin' cheap.

Is it not? We have Thief 2 threads and Deus Ex threads on /vr/ right?
Alice was released in 2000. Is '99 the cutoff year?
>>4238391
17 years ago seems retro enough for me.

Alice was released in 2000 too*

>Heavy Metal FAKK 2
Never seen Heavy Metal. Should check it and the game out
Thanks anon

It was a sequel of sorts to a shitty movie that was a reboot of an actually good movie. The game's seriously underrated though. Tons of fun, even today. Runs perfectly on Windows 10, supports proper widescreen with no HUD stretch.

This is actually a pretty decent game, despite the retarded levels of fanservice going on. Liberal cheat abuse makes it a lot more amusing.

Very good climatic game.

It's a good game but some later stages aren't as good. I found the "meaty" things infesting everything lackluster, design-wise. Alice 2 is good too, though I never finished it.

>/vr/ doesn't make sense
>yes, I've read the sticky
>why can't I just physically throw my pawns at you king and knock him over?
>yes I've read the rules for chess

>implying /vr/s rules are comparable to chess
