Does it really matter? Keiji designed the original art for Mega Man from Akira Kitamura's pixel art. They both had a hand in his creation.

It doesn't really matter who made him; he was made when people working in video games weren't allowed to use their real name. They were frothing at the mouth for credit. Hell, didn't it take Might No 9 for someone to even dig up Kitamura so that we could pretend that Inafune had zero connection to Mega Man?

Even Kitamura said that it was the whole team that created Megaman. If we're going to be butthurt over Inafune, why aren't we writing in the names of the whole team?
