why does everything in that game have to be so slow and sluggish? the smooth and fast paced gameplay were among the strongest points in the first game.
why did they have to ruin everything with that horrible camera, and unironically have a three second recovery time everytime you took damage?

Just started the first one here and are you saying it gets much better? Because so far I just finished the first dream sequence and I've been pretty bored with the trial and error stuff

I played this long time ago so i dont really remember much about pacing problem. As far as i can remember i enjoyed it very much. I never played the first one so i cant compare. But do i have a really good experience? Definitely. Will i play it again? Unlikely.

Why was this sequel so drastically different from the first? Did they hire a new team?

I enjoyed Alundra 2, never played the first. A2 is like FFVII with voice acting and Ehrgeiz's rpg combat system, really fun but apparently not the game Alundra 1 fans wanted

Your taste is bad. That was a horrible game even as a standalone, and even worse as a "sequel" to Alundra.

It's talked about sometimes, but it's not talked about enough. Seriously overlooked. I love retro 3D platformers
I remember getting this game not too long after playing the first one. I got so disappointed that I never touched it again.
Then one year or so later I decided to try it again and it was pretty enjoyable. If you play it as a game of its own instead of comparing it to the first it's quite enjoyable.
If they had just named it something completely different I think more people would have enjoyed it.

I love this game
