Not that guy, but IIRC, Mirror is the only ability in the game that takes no damage while blocking. All the others still lose a tiny bit of health, unless you count using Stone as blocking.

Plasma is the most broken one, specially if you play on keyboards.

The ball ability in Kirby's Adventure deals a ton of damage. If you can time it correctly without making yourself vulnerable, you can use it to wear down boss health in only a few hits.

It is in the DS port of Super Star. The arena modes are ridiculous. Even with Kirby constantly blocking, Marx' Soul will have no trouble wearing your health down.

Plasma all day erryday, a super strong wall passing full screen traveling energy blast every one to two seconds right at your fingertips, added shield too, it's ridiculous.

Mirror lets you hurt oppoenents while running which is awesome.

Ninja and fighter are really cool too.

My favorite is probably yoyo though. It's just so fun to use and there's so much range in so many directions at any time so you pretty much always have something good to do with it.

Depends on what player. 2nd player playing as T.A.C. is easily top tier. Self heals, power stealing and no I frames from hits, so he can kill bosses in about a second flat.

It's not the strongest ability but one of the most versatile. The mirror beam reflects projectiles, is a medium range weapon that can be spammed and does okay damage. His mirror-image attack can be done mid-sprint and doesn't leave you prone afterwards like other dash attacks like fire. The mirror shield takes zero damage when blocking (actually hurts the foe a tiny bit) and reflects projectiles at the foe. Even blocks "unblockable" like the Computer Virus boss uses.

I find through the duration of a normal level, ice/freeze is great. You take shit out near you by freezing it, then you kick them as projectiles that travel the full length of the screen. It's pretty much the best way to just clear shit out.

Levels don't have near the amount of exploration as previously mentioned, or any unique sequences like motorcycle ride or the shootem up. You don't "discover" combinations, there are literally one of seven different elements that you can mix with another one of seven elements. Now in milky way wishes where you fly to the that hidden star and get tac's ability, that is discovering something. The 3d graphics lacked the soul of the previous, and even later ones. Now Kirby and the Rainbow Cruise, that is a gorgeous and beautiful side scroller.

It's a mixed bag for me. Some games have some good direction overcoming the limitations and others end up bland. Small things add up to either hurt or help. Like Kirby actually changes appearance in Smashbros which really adds the the uniqueness of each power.

Bomb's overall attack power is pretty pathetic compared to other options. Hammer surpasses it in terms of one-hit power, ninja in terms of combos, and arguably mirror in terms of DPS, for instance. It is always entertaining to give enemies presents, though.
