It's just Virtua Fighter with Sanic characters. The Honey The Cat was the best thing to come out of this.

I don't like it, seeing Sanic beating the crap out of Amy and Tails always seemed out of character to me. At least Smash Bros had the toys/trophies as an excuse.

I can't stand the ring sound effect every time you hit someone. Absolute ear rape.

I liked it a lot. On the surface it's a pretty shallow casual fighter, but the barrier system gives the game a lot of depth.
