Has the trilogy stood the test of time in your opinion?
No, too many escort segments and the first person aiming is horrible.

One thing is clear: tazing peeps until they combust will -never- get old.
Well I liked it back then and I like it now too because I'm not a retard.

Thanks for informing us that.

I was 16 actually. Still, if you were able to enjoy it back then but not anymore you may have severe brain problems.

Ok
1 and 2 are still great games. Fluid controls, good animations, solid frame rate. And a nice mix of shootouts + stealth + climbing puzzle-ish sections.
Everyone compares Uncharted to Tomb Raider because of the Indiana Jones-ish theming, but mechanically, Uncharted is Syphon Filter's successor. 3rd person shooter mixed with climbing bits.

you are stupid
Played through all three of the PSX games, beat two of them, can't remember which other than the first game. Pretty damn good 3rd person shooters, though the stealth sections can be fucktarded at times. And there's the valley in the Afghanistan level in 2 or 3 that is just unfair. My biggest complaint was some of the gimmicky shit. I remember one of the games final levels was on a train, and in order to beat the boss you have to turn around and go back towards the beginning of the level, going through areas you've already cleared, until you reach a box with the one gun that can actually hit the boss. No skill or strategy involved, just backtrack to the McGuffin and run back. Fucking letdown.

It's just a burn, kiddo, don't take it so personally.

I liked it. Been a while since I played it though. The first one was always my favorite.

Only the first one.
