What do you consider the most aesthetic piece of hardware?

My vote goes to the GBC. It's sturdy but comfortable, the design is simple but features all the essentials and it's all housed in a sexy, colourful case.

I always found the Pocket to be just a bit sleeker than the Colour. Percaps because it's a little more angular and a bit flatter.

My pick out of the Game Boy line would be the SP, but that's >not retro.

Anyway I like both, but I think the US SNES is a bit more a e s t h e t i c, I still love the SFC about the same though.

Is there a sexier beast than the PSOne? I don't think so.

I'm aware it doesn't have the original PlayStation's serial port, but it's not like they're hard to chip (or use a swap disc with)

makes me wonder, did they intentionally gave the controllers gold plating instead of white because they know the white plastic is going to turn yellow?

An interesting hypothesis. Too bad the gold on the controllers can flake away to this nightmarish streaky thing. Though, even a junk Famicom is a masterpiece of design, in my opinion.

not only does it look aesthetic as fuck but the controllers were pure comfort. why don't they make something like this now?

You just made me miss my own GBC.
I still have it but the A button is ded and in my country there are no services for modding it for modern use.

And I'm too stupid and clumsy to do it myself.

You make a good point, anon. Which variation is your favorite? I'm partial to the 4-switch and the Jr.
>>
>>4212031
I like the GBC so much I still use it for the games and not a GBA SP.
