is Kirby Superstar a good game?

The vast majority of Kirby fans swear by it. It's pretty cool, but Kirby's Adventure will always hold the top spot in my heart.

I like it but I think the controls were odd and that the sprites were too big. My gripe with the controls is its the first game where they added the run, but turning to run the other way took a double tap even if you were already running, which messed with my muscle memory from newer Kirby games. Also lots of the powers had weird state-dependent attacks which made it hard to do what you want when you want, and they felt more like arbitrary limitations than purposeful design decisions.

Still lots of fun!

I always thought Kirby having abilities to fight bosses ruined it on some sort of conceptual level.

It's ok. I liked Kirby's Adventure more, but Superstar adds more moves for each ability which is pretty cool

Amazing, just too easy. If you had a friend as a Wheelie rider the game was totally broken.
