Saw a few people meming Captain Claw, so I decided to give it a go myself.

Won't start on my Win10 64-bit computer. Error at launch regardless of what I do.

Yeah, remember thinking it always felt icky til I used DOSbox, and still kinda do. That new version has mixels that fuck up the minimap. Unfortunately DOSbox struggled to run it on my PC in 2005, but it did it well enough in 320x200. A lot better going now though.

Well, it technically works with DosBox, but it will crash and lockup hard after a minute or two, making it unplayable. I'm not sure how stable it is under PCem, but I didn't have it crash once in the 20-30 minutes I was playing around with it. Then all my people died of disease.

If you ever fuck around with DOSbox again try the simple core and running some stuff at lower cycles. Noticed some shit doesn't work properly with Dynamic and high cycles.

Oh I did, I even found a guide for specific settings for getting it to run. It would run, it would just lockup and freeze and crash after a minute or two.
