Best Ghostbusters game?

Nah... that one from a few years back starring the original cast that acted as a sequel to the movies was definitely the best!

Not saying it's the best, but Game Boy version of Ghostbuster II is good and generally overlooked.

I'm going to be a hipster and say the one on SMS. I liked the idea of running my own business, going on calls, getting money, getting upgrades, etc. The way it was done was bare bones, but it was a port of an Atari game basically so I cut it some slack. I'd say the NES one is also great but the SMS is all it is but with a better coat of paint and a password system. I think both are fun.

When was that? I know the PS3 servers went offline years ago. I only rented the game at release but online was a lot of fun because everyone was cooperating. By the time I bought the game online was already kill. I don't even know if PC ever had it at all.

It's probably just a PS3 thing, from what I can tell practically every server for every game has gone down in the past couple years, including ones for games that are 100% online-based. It sucks.

The arcade game by Data East is quite fun.

New Ghostbusters II on NES is the best retro Ghostbusters game. It's hard, the gameplay is fun, and it follows the movie's plot pretty well. It even has awesome NES remixes of some of the movie's soundtrack.
But the 360/PS3 Ghostbusters game is probably the best one ever.
