Has /vr/ ever played the Geneforge Saga?
I gave the first one a go a long time a go after getting the series as a bundle.
It looks like it could be pretty cool but I couldn't be bothered figuring it out at the time.
I've always been curious about it because GoG advertises it in the splashscreen of their installers. Mostly I'm curious cause the girl in pic related is a real qt but I know the game has none of that.
I would definitely recommend it since it's a rather unique experience. The story is interesting enough, gameplay is tolerable but definitely secondary to the world they're trying to craft.

It's really fun at first but I found that it gets really grind-y and repetitive with a million encounters that you've already had to slog through. The world-building is quite good though so I think it's best played at a lower difficulty to breeze through some of the grind.

No, I haven't. My brother's got all of them, and I cribbed the files, but I've never gotten around to playing them.
Which is doubly inexcusable because I'm a huge fan of Vogel's other stuff.
Bought all of them in Steam summer sale for a few bucks. I played only the first so far, but I really liked it. Great Setting, factions, exploration.

I wanna but I keep reading it as "Genoforge Saga" and that just pisses me off way too much to give it a try.
