Thunder Force IV i love it. Alas this game has issues. Sometimes it completely freezes on the ice water level. Which is shocking to see. Because lets be honest how many mega drive games do that? The game also has issues with foreground and background shading. Where its easy to crash your ships into objects in the foreground because the shading made them appear far away. Some of the enemy projectiles have the same color as your own projectiles making it a bitch to tell which ones are yours and which ones are theirs. Not even mentioning the horrendous slowdown. Funny how the thunderforce crew always overlooks these flaws. Thunderforce is great, i love it, but its not even the best mega drive shooter.
